"After the Kids Have Gone" by Lorene Wingard (LadyM's mom)is about an Arkansas family's forming a lifelong love affair with Zihuatanejo, starting in the 60s. It's self-published, not very polished, but that's what makes it so genuine, so heartfelt. Maybe LadyM can have one sent to you in time.
