If you're over 60 and have an FM3 you can get a pass from DIF that gives you 50% discount on long distance buses in Mexico. All you need is 2 small photos (infantil, it costs 40 pesos) and a copy of your FM3. You go to the DIF office near the lagoon and they make up the pass right there and then. I just got mine yesterday.
