I just got back very early this morning...and am already in a depression. Me and my friends stayed 1 week at the NH Krystal and enjoyed the quiet, laid back pace of Ixtapa. What a gorgeous town this is! And the people were frinedly, too!

For all those leery of staying at the Krystal, don't be. Although the bathrooms are a little in need of updating (especially the shower door), we found it to be adequate. The pool is awesome and the general lay out of the place is lovely. We really liked it. The food was also pretty good. The snack bar was great, too! The entertainment was a little cheesy at times, but we liked the staff very much. Say hi to "Poncho" and Benny and Juan if you go for me!

The only thing I had trouble with was we went out to eat at a Marina restaurant on Tuesday night and me and another girl got food was terrible. That was the end of my appetite for most of my trip. We didn't venture out to eat after that incident because of it...which was too bad considering all the great places you can eat. Be careful, is all I can say.

I heard that Frank's is hopping...and Isabel's piano bar is quaint and fun. Also, Bogart's was very nice, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed this.

The beach is excellent for walking. We loved it...but the waves were very rough...couldn't go in. We lounged by the pool most of the time anyway...but the walks were fabulous. I've never seen a large stretch of beach like that. It was great. I also recommned getting a beach side massage. At first we were leery of trying it...the bed might be a little hard at first, but the girls there do a pretty decent job of working out the kinks from home. It was worth the $10 USD.

Feel free to ask me any questions!
