There is a post further on down the page dealing with cruise ships and the Zihuantanejo Bay which prompts me to post this message..

Did you know that a small warship -- a Corvette as they were called -- which was converted to a private type of yacht and belonged to John Wayne, is rumoured to have sank in the Zihuatanejo Bay many years ago?

I have a book at home referencing the date etc. and will post that information upon my return home.

Anyone else out there who can confirm/deny the rumour?
