Here we are, back home again. I should have mentioned that two of the five of us came down with a bit of stomach "issue" today, so the normal precautions should be taken. And another of us (me) stepped on a sting ray at Salditas, so take precautions there as well. I'm told that shuffling your feet in the water scares them away. Too late for me, but not for you. Thankfully there were locals around who knew to get hot water on the wound immediately.

To answer a few questions:

1) La Gula -- see Stew's post and ask when you get there.

2) we stayed at Villa Zanzibar (www.villazanzibar.com). Rates are posted on their website. This is an exceptional palapa style house. The rate includes daily (except Sunday) visits from Natie who keeps the place spotless, dispenses a wealth of information, and makes the most amazing guacamole and limonada.

3) Yes, I'm sure it was Paty's, but we may have walked by too early to see lounge chairs out. There were plenty of tables and chairs though, so maybe the lounges weren't out yet. At any rate, it's a great place and worthy of our (and your) business.
