We had a look into the new "Linda Vista" Suites (#47) and they are very very nice. The balconies are totally private with lounges, 2 person couch, hammock, table and chairs. Inside features a King size bed, A/C, Bar fridge, TV and phone.
The bathroom is gorgeous with a beautiful copper sink and attractive tile work on the counter plus the doors and woodwork inside the suite is quite appealing.
There are some trees in front of the balcony so the view might be a little impaired but they also keep the sun from beating in. It is a fair hike to the beach via the "Mexican StairMaster", nevertheless, the views while walking up or down the stairs are always magnificent and well worth a pause.
The folks at the Catalina have done a great job in fixing up the grounds and landscaping along with their continued improvements to the rooms and facilities. ZIHUATANEJO
