yes when you're in Morelia going to Zihua the most important signs to look for there are Patzcuaro, Uruapan and Lazaro Cardenas. Little or no signage with references to Zihuatanejo.
on the way back the most important sign to look for is "Salamanca" which will lead you around and out of Morelia and toward the autopista to the Big City.
kind of hard to understand until you've actually done it.
